No.

Even if PG's dream works out, he knows most startups fail. Those guys will eventually need to get proper jobs (i.e "hired") and so only a tiny fraction of new employees at bigcos will come from acquisition.

He also has an interesting picture of what big companies are good at - i.e nothing, which seems a bit at variance with reality. I am amazed that Apple, 3M, IBM etc have not collapsed under the weight of their ineptitude.
